the Pernicious Anaemia Society is running a seminar on Saturday 14th October 2023, you have to be a member to attend but there is time to sign up and register for the event. The seminar runs 10am to 12noon UK time but recordings of the speakers are available after, again for members. The three speakers are experts in research into Pernicious Anaemia and B12 and will be updating us on current ongoing research. If you are already a member you will have been sent an email to sign up. Check Spam if you havent looked at pas emails for a while. If you want to join and attend then after you fill in the membership send an email to our info@ address so you can get the details to register for the seminar.👨‍🏫👩‍🏫

I’m a member but can’t find an email I’ve not really been on before . I became a member when I thought I was going to struggle with new surgery . Do I just go into pas web 🫣🤔

probably best to email the Society directly and ask them to check, people on the info@ email address are best placed to help with membership and the seminar. sometimes people have more than one email and forget which email they registered with LOL

Thanks - I got the History of Pernicious Anaemia - but not the notification of a seminar.

My problem with contacting PAS is memory: can never remember my latest password or where I wrote it down !

This is probably quite common, but still a bit embarrassing.

I'd like to be able to either attend (virtually), or listen to the speakers later (if I'm not up to it on the actual day). I often look at forum posts, but am not clear on how I become a member of the Society? TIA for any info on this.

Hi. I’m a member and similarly got the history email but not notification of the seminar. I’ve looked online and hope to attend.

[I have edited this to delete a request for updates from PA as I have gone into my account and seen there was a newsletter article about Martyn leaving - not sure why I had not seen this before (missed email or went into junk or not received).]

What I should also have said - thanks for organising the seminar. It looks really interesting and informative.
