Is that true the most important difference between MS and B12 d symptom is random symptoms in MS but in b12d develop symmetrical?

As I learned from doctor' Chandy's book. Ms first off is mostly in relapsing remitting fashion and in rare cases progressive form it doesn't remit and developing time takes more thant ten to twenty years and average age of diagnosis is 43 which 75% are women age 20 to 40. Scotland and Canada are fastest growing numbers of MS as cold stress is one the most important factor but immigrants also risks get increased and it appears in next generation but smoke Epstein Barr virus and some vaccine trigger that. There are some other theories regarding it's treatment like injection of adenosylcobalamin injection can improve it because bacteria coming from rhizomes nodes of some legume plants as these bacterias are nitrogen fixing can trigger MS. In the book also insist that intramuscular injection lower risk of entrapment of B12 in subcutaneous injection. Is that true in B12 deficiency symptoms develop much faster and in symmetrical way. In MS patients mostly in random or half if body is involved and take long time to develop whole body. In b12d colors in vision don't get skewed or packed but in MS it happens along with other symptoms like electric shock feeling in back when neck bends or one eyeball pain and it get worse when eyes move. Is there any other differences? Like lesion pattern in MRI and B12 d don't get brain lesions? Phantom smell belong to which one? Any comments?

Hi,

Just got time for a quick reply.

"Like lesion pattern in MRI and B12 d don't get brain lesions?"

Some research articles I read (I'm not a scientist) described white matter lesions in the brain caused by B12 deficiency.

Search online for "brain lesions B12 deficiency" for more information.

I couldn't find any resources clearly explain difference between them but in MS I think central nervous system get attached by immune system. I'm not sure which one is correct. Lesion in white matter of brain in b12d or MS?

It's look like blood brain barrier play important role in B12 transfer to brain. I think there are done research regarding permeability of this blood brain barrier changes due to exposure of sone chemicals which available in tobacco. Probably this low b12 in cerebral fluid cause damage to central nervous system and it's lesion in white matter

Hi, I've been reading your posts and your symptoms are remarkably similar to mine

Do you experience periods of remission at all? Where your symptoms are less severe, even for a short period of time? And how much b12/folic acid have you been taking? Did you keep on taking the iron?

My symptoms execerbate by stress but I'm on the side of healing. Now I inject everyday and it is so helpful. My muscle related symptoms started ten months ago except my stomach muscles and my eyes which was started almost six years ago but gradually execerbate through time and ended in assuming megaloblastic aneamia (there was no proper blood work to detect the homocysteine and MMA but I had exactly megaloblastic aneamia which improved and abated just in two months except dizziness). I think a month ago was my break even point of my symptoms and my symptoms are getting improved. I need an stress free environment for months and that's why I'm moving to stay with my family.
