Crystal clear long term memories

I have been SI for some time now… every other day for many months, once a week for a period and now once every 10 days or so.

Around 4 months in I started to experience very vivid and crystal clear memories from years ago, even from my childhood. These memories have become more frequent and are not frightening at all just very clear. My short term memory was always terrible and still is.

I was curious whether anybody else has experienced anything similar and whether B12 might be the cause?

Mu brain certainly has waves of waking up.

I find it difficult at times with the 'lost years. Totally lost.

My long term memory and shot term were very good and relied upon.

Recently like you vivid recollections sometimes s bit muddled in a dream.

But crystal clear in the day.

I think if is an important process in healing.

My short rerm memory ,now good days and bad .

A friend recently asked as reflecting on a mutual friends illness and death many years ago .

A text from 'nowhere

I did rember the details timings and order of events and finally the year.

But did have it logged in my diary so checked.

Bit like z dictionary have yo have a clue to look it up!

He was very pleased both at knowing and my progress.

Bit if the 'old me'

So I would take it as a very positive sign

.

Definately. My long term memory’s now even amaze me.Since my head injury my short term memory is shocking I have timers set up everywhere anytime I’m cooking etc as I struggle with that one and dont ask me what I did last week or a couple of days ago my head hurts trying to remember lol,ask me where I was 40 years ago and it’s clear as a bell.amazing isn’t it.Before b12 shots I was so lost and it makes you feel so alone and it’s embarrassing sometimes, but look on the positive we have some wonderful memories to look back on and we can always find a way of coping with the day to day stuff.take care x

Thanks for the replies. I guess we all have different reactions to B12 and it’s nice to know at least a couple of others have had a ‘memory hit’ as a result.
