Can there be a link between B12 deficiency and light chains(?) showing in blood.

I have to have a blood test yearly to check for something I don’t understand… and what with Covid restrictions I feel a little neglected.

I'm not medical but my understanding is the free light chains seen in blood can cause b12 deficiency as it can affect the reabsorption of b12.

I realise far more complex than that.

So keeping B12 levels s up important to reduce any b12 deficiency symptoms.

.Also connected in some way to immunity.

I think it's one of those things monitored like you say and watching kidney function

So many things can affect kidneys.

Make sure you get your monitoring. Blood test.

Also take your maintenence b12 if that's what you are doing.

I asked about it once snd this is my very limited understanding as never heard of it.

If you find out more links to b12 deficiency /PA please post the information.

So many of us haven't found the cause .

Never ending learning.
