Does anyone have an opinion on Pascoe vs Hevert hydroxo and is it better to buy through Amazon de. or direct from a pharmacy?

amazon.de is easy to access because it is easily obtained in English . They sell Hevert B12 depot single use ampoules 1mg x 2ml .

versandapo.de is a reliable German online pharmacy which sells the Hevert , reference no. 06078368 , and also the very popular Panpharma B12 depot 1mg x 1ml ampoule . Reference no. 16199653. This site is in German , so you might need to use Google Chrome or get a translation app. I advise registering , then you will earn points -200 when you register , and 1 point for every euro you spend . 250 points represent €2.50 , which you can use the next time you purchase . Courier costs €9.00 no matter how many you buy .

Reference no for a pack of 10 Panpharma ampoules is 16199653 which will take you straight to the item . You can pay with PayPal or Bank transfer .

You cannot use reference numbers on Amazon.de .

Both Panpharma and Hevert are excellent . The only difference is that the Hevert, which contains the same amount of B12 ( 1mg). as Panpharma , has twice the amount of saline i.e. 2ml. I prefer to inject 1ml .

Thanks. Yes I prefer to use 1ml instead of 2 so will try and order the Panpharma ones. The only advantage I can see to the 2ml is that you would lose less of the dose if you spilt any or ejected some from the syringe getting rid of air bubbles, but I treat it like gold dust so it’s not really an issue for me. 😄

Sorry , I forgot to mention Pascoe B12 depot ( Hydroxocobalamin) ampoules They are 1.5 mg x 1ml Reference no. 07568672 I really don’t know if it is advantageous to inject 50% more than the usual dose m.

I wondered that too. Would be good if it lasted longer and injections were needed less often. Maybe I should buy some of each to see if I notice a difference.

Yes , it would be interesting to try that out . But i think if that were the case , then the NHS would be using that dosage so that injections could be given less often .

injecting more may not result in less frequent injections - the rate at which you excess B12 is removed is faster if blood levels are higher so it may just result in more being lost - the 1mg dose was based on balance between dose and retention but its based on averages so that doesn't necessarily mean its right for everyone - and we also know that serum B12 levels after a shot don't tell the whole story. As long as you are buying from a reputable pharmacy - either on amazon.de or directly - it shouldn't make any difference in terms of safety.

What a great question! 😃 I had no idea there were so many brands and apart from the volume it would be interesting to know peoples preferences.
