Hi Welsh,

Yes it is bright red - you have ordered the right one.

Best wishes

Thank you Narwhal 10. Was concerned because the one in surgery is clear. Why??

I honestly can’t answer about the one in the surgery. I never look as I’m focusing on relaxing my arm and chatting to the nurse. (Inside laughing at the lack of knowledge). But you are now in charge of own health.

😊

Thanks nackapan. That's good to know I won't turn red!! I will check what I am having when I next go into the surgery. Take care

Ah ha! Now we know why Drs say that their injections are "just placebo"!! 😜😂

Oh my goodness! I'm looking forward to hearing what you find out.

And in the meantime, brilliantly well done on getting everything sorted and doing your first jab. That's excellent news: welcome to the road to ongoing improvements from now on.

That’s why my very deficient hubby was convinced everyone was trying to poison him, especially as he felt so ill after his early doses! He now takes high dose tablets and they seem to be keeping his levels up.

I have used various forms of B12 both clinically and personally for over forty years and have never seen anything other than a red color to the solution. Your clinic should be willing to show you an unopened, unused vial of the B12 they use. If they resist, I think you know what that means or they have some real explaining to do.

The liquid in the vials from my surgery is bright red and in the ones I order from Germany is a browny-red.

Never seen clear coloured liquid in hydroxo vials!

🤔 I’ve never heard of clear, 5 years now….I’ve only seen red.

I hope you find out why the liquid is clear in the injections your surgery uses.

I wondered if it was very pale red and in the surgery lighting just appeared clear.

I self inject, the liquid is red. It is also red at the surgery. I had a Google and didn’t turn up anything on ‘clear’. You could ask the next time you go to the surgery if you feel it wouldn’t damage your relationship! Good luck, it would be interesting to know what you find out.
