Ordering overseas - Based in US ordering from Germany

I ordered hydroxy ampoules for the first time from Germany. I am in the US. I ordered on November 27. I have been tracking the shipment and the DHL notice has said the same thing for nearly 2 weeks. “In customs for clearance”. I ordered from Marienbrunnapotheke.de

Is this unusual? Do I just need to be more patient? Thanks.

Your fellow countrymen might be able to shed more light on this ( I’m in the. U.K. ) I think that there are two elements at work here —- 1). It’s always busier at this time of year -Christmas, which leads to delays . 2) I have no doubt that many customs and delivery staff are off work , unwell with Covid. But even taking all that into consideration , it does seem a long time . I do hope that the ampoules arrive soon . Best wishes

Have edited title of your post so it is more likely to catch the eye of those in the US

Great news!!! My B12 ampoules arrived today... I just panicked because the tracking information hadn't changed in 8 days. I got the b12 depot ampoules that I have seen here often I think the same as versandpro sells. I don't know if they are supposed to be refrigerated? So it took 24 days from ordering to delivery for other Americans looking to order from this company.

That’s great . A super Christmas present! No need to keep them in the fridge . They just need to be kept dark and under 25 Celsius ( 77 Fahrenheit) Have a very happy Christmas Ei Ca ! You are on your way to better health !

Merry Christmas to you as well, Wedgewood. I will be happy to share my experience with any US members. It took some finesse but I will know to order very early next time. I think the package was completely opened and the contents inspected. The label was so hard to read it is a Christmas miracle that it ever got here. Now to navigate these glass ampoules. I will do a search to find the right needles and a glass vial opener. I am admittedly nervous about learning to do this but I have paid attention to the relevant posts and I ordered extra ampoules for the learning curve. I appreciate the work you do. Bless you. Eileen

You don't necessarily need an opener. There is a small round dot on the top of the vial that needs to point at you to break it open.

Check out this video on YouTube, youtube.com/watch?v=3l9p4VX....

I'm sure there are many more, I haven't looked much, and this video is for a different product. But in any case, this guy demonstrates it pretty well. Except, I disinfect my hands and fingers before opening the vial.

2 ml syringes are suitable (Braun inject 2 ml Luer centric). As needles, I use Sterican needles 30 G 0,3x12 mm, they are very fine and short.

All the best!

thanks....this was very helpful. I will decline buying the ampoule opener until I try opening one of these first. Good point about having disinfected hands and fingers prior to opening....kind of important!

👍😀

I have also seen people, way in the past, use sapphire files, or today, diamond files, to score the neck of the ampule before breaking. I too use this technique on some batches of ampules I receive.

Good Luck.

I bought the snap it opener, after having 2 break in hand, don't regret it, expensive but I am no longer nervous opening them.

I am going to give it one try without an opener and promptly order an opener if I can't do it. The video makes it look pretty easy!

Line up the dot on vial ,put tissue between fingers and vial and press. Should be fine ..... good luck
