Ordering hydroxy overseas from US

A few members asked me to post about how my experience went ordering hydroxy ampoules from this company. It took from Nov. 27 to Dec. 20 to receive the ampoules. I was provided tracking information from the company but it only said "in customs for clearance" for 10 days. I almost gave up. They came yesterday. The package had clearly been completely opened but the boxes of ampoules were not affected. I paid less than $2/ampoule but shipping cost $40. The more you order the more cost-effective shipping is. Over-all I would use this company again but would probably order more (I ordered 2 boxes) for time and cost efficiency. Hopefully it will continue to be available to the US! I would be glad to answer any questions. Merry Christmas to those who celebrate! Be safe.

Thank you very much for posting this information - brilliant and very useful to signpost our US friends to!

Just a thought....

I know light is more important than heat at degrading the contents but it might be worth ordering plenty of ampoules in the winter to tide you over the summer if it's going to take a while to get to you so they don't get hot for an extended period in uncontrolled conditions.

Can I ask why you are choosing to use hydroxy instead of cyanocobalamin? Just curious. I'm in the US too and have been using cyan for years now. Is the hydroxy better in some way?

Years ago I had anaphylaxis response to an infusion and I was told it was to the cyanocobalim B12, so I have stayed away from it. I have some genetic problems with methylating B12 and I tried methycobalamin but I did not do well with that so I ended up with hydroxy. I am doing okay with it though I still get some unsavory side effects...especially insomnia. It may be that my genetics are contributing to that.

The first year I started receiving B12 shots I had insomnia for the first couple of nights after my shot but I don't know if that was because of the B12 or a magnesium/calcium deficiency. I take a cal/mag supplement every night now and I don't have trouble sleeping anymore. Another good sleeping aid is to drink a cup of ginger tea to which I add a couple of threads of saffron.
