Call to Panpharma

I refer to this post: healthunlocked.com/pasoc/po...

The information from the pharmacy was only partially correct.

Everything is fine, Panpharma continues with B12 Depot. Due to legal restrictions, they are no longer allowed to sell the 100 pack to individuals.

This is what the lady from the pharmacy hotline had misunderstood.

Cyanocobalamin 10x1ml PZN 16199707

Hydroxocobalamin 10x1ml PZN 16199653

I am sorry for causing panic because I was not patient enough to call Panpharma first. But I am glad that I can now reassure you, dear fellow sufferers, with this good news.

When I’ve bought the 100 ampoule pack , I’ve noticed printed on the side that it’s called a “ Clinic Package “ - so I suppose that it’s really intended for medical institutions , not private people . So perhaps Rotexmedica were not being strictly correct in selling it to us .

That's right, I noticed that too when I first bought it. But the packaging also says that it can't be sold individually, which means the 100-pack has to be sold in one piece, so to speak. And it was a bit cheaper than 10 single packages.

Anyway, I’m glad that this fuss is not an issue anymore.

Yes , absolutely . It’s just GREAT that we have this forum . Even the massive, rich USA does not have a forum like this one . Thank you Martyn Hooper !

It is interesting to hear how others view the USA. Certainly living here it always feels like people should have more resources available than they ever do.

I am grateful that the whole world of PA sufferers has this forum as a resource.

Exactly, USA is a nightmare for PA sufferers. No free medication, No government health insurance. Too much panic due to gun violence, police protocol to stop gun violence. American big wealthy Corporations seems very likely to me not representing poor Americans. And the worst part is you need prescription for everything even for study glasses that you guys buy in Europe from grocery store needs prescription in USA.

So what does this mean for people who buy this type of b12? Do you have to buy 10 of these 10 packs now?

How much more do you have to spend?

You think the websites would be willing to setup some kind of bundle deal so you can pay the old price?

Interested to see how many you can buy in one go if there will be a limit imposed as I SI everyday. Hopefully not too restrictive. I usually get two 100 packs a go.

To be honest, I’m just glad it’s still available. It’s still incredibly cheap compared to other ‘meds’.

I ordered 10x10 from versandpo at the weekend without problems. The price was more or less the same as I was paying for 1x100. The 1x10 is marked as the replacement for the 1x100

And that's why I think this new regulation is just stupid. I suspect it has something to do with some kind of lobbying.
