Does anyone experience tightness in legs since starting B12 ? I take the injection once a week and through the week I take sublingual b12 1000 mcg every day except injection day.

Yes, I get these cramps and tightness too. Tried some massage therapy and the therapist found out all the painful muscle knots…ouch! Massage was only partly successful. My hunch is that those muscle problems could be caused by another deficiency. Magnesium? For a while now I’ve been using epsom salts in a bath and also magnesium oils. Apparently magnesium is poorly absorbed through supplements. Worth a try! And any relaxation exercises such as Feldenkreis do help too. Sadly no magic solution to this painful problem. Wishing you all the best

I had a lot of tightness in my legs when my B12 was too low and I was very symptomatic. Constant anxiety and I was wound so tight I wanted to jump out of my skin (I went off injections without realizing the ramifications). I was in agony. It took about three days to start feeling a little better after my doctor administered an injection but I will say a slight release from the tightness in my legs occurred the same day of my injection. Good luck!

That sounds like me you're describing mcg-woo. I'm so wound up it feels like my skin on my legs and feet has vibration and on top of that I had an anxiety attack out of nowhere. So maybe I'm going to have to up my dose to 2x a week. Thanks mcg-woo. Best
