Blood Results

I started my B12 Loading doses in March and my GP checked the levels a month after and were 1277 from 187.

I was having a consultation with a Hematologist this week regarding my Iron and Folate deficiency so he did a load of bloods for him to look at

My B12 is now 475 and my folate is the lowest it has ever been at 1.7

I am having my 3 monthly B12 injection tomorrow .

I am a bit puzzled because the GP ordered a LHD blood test (i've never has one before) and the result came back after I spoke to the Hematolgist .

It came back as 263 U/L which it says is quite a bit higher than the normal range limit of 135 - 214 U/L.

I looked on google and if I am reading things right it looks like I may have a problem.

As I am New to this LHD blood test. does anyone have any experience with this test and what the results mean

You need to ask your GP why they did an LDH test and what the result means.
