Where can I buy injectable B12 now?? My usual supplier is in Germany (I'm in UK) and they no longer ship here Ta very much Brexit!

Since we left the single European market on January 1st , we have had difficulties in obtaining our B12 ampoules from German online pharmacies .There is added paperwork for them , and some seem to think it’s not worth the trouble ( I don’t know if this is the only reason ) So we have had to set out and find new sources . I can say for certain that the following pharmacies are at present shipping B12 ampoules to the U.K, but some times they run out of stock, but restock quite quickly .

Search for Rotexmedica b12 depot

These ampoules are the Hydroxocobalamin form of B12 , as used in the NHS .

You can use the Pharmeceutical reference numbers which appear on every pharmaceutical Item .

03862297 for packets of 10 + ampoules

03862305 for 10 x 10 packets i.e. 100 ampoules— Usually the cheapest way to buy them . The use -by date is at least 2 years. To be kept at a temperature of 25 Celsius or less, and in the dark.

You can’t use the pharmaceutical reference numbers if you are ordering from Amazon.de .

I find it advantageous to register and use PayPal to pay . Usually takes about 4 days to arrive.

It's because the post-Brexit UK government want VAT to be collected at the point of sale.

So, if you are an EU company you need to register with the UK government. That will allow you to collect VAT from UK purchasers. You then send the tax to the UK government. ANd, for all this extra work, you have to pay the UK government for the privilege.

Thanks fbirder. That is appalling. I'm glad I didn't vote for it but that, sadly doesn't prevent us from falling foul of our own government's greed. GRRRRRR! Great image.

Thanks for the explanation . Cant think why we weren’t told about it on the advertising bus that used to tell us how many millions we would save by leaving Europe .

Yes, I normally use them. I tried yesterday and the day before but still saying not delivering to UK. When did you look? If you have some info that they are could you send me the link, please?

Versandapo is definitely not delivering to U.K. . I often have a look and pretend to purchase , because I’m ever the ( foolish) optimist .!
