Hi everyone! I hope you are all well :)

After some more prominent symptoms arising, I went in to see the most amazing doctor (sadly he was just a locum :()

I am now under investigation for a condition called Cushings and have also taken bloods to check my other hormone levels as they think there is some kind of metabolism disorder underlying if it’s not cushings.

I also noticed on the request sheet they’ve ticked HbA1c. Is this to do with my B12 Levels?

I was told it was also to do with blood sugar levels as he wanted to check for diabetes, however wasn’t sure if it would pick up on that too. Just wondered if any of you would know :)

I’ve been told this morning there are a couple of abnormalities showing possibly, but that I’d need to speak to a doctor about that and ring at 8am tomorrow for an appointment....great for my anxiety lol.

Thanks in advance

HbA1c is looking for diabetes. It's a way of getting an idea of how your glucose has been over the last few months. I'd guess that they may suspect you have metabolic syndrome if its not Cushing's
