Pernicious anaemia, arthritis and spondylolisthesis

Hi, I was diadnosed with Pernicious Anaemia in 2006 and later started suffering back pain. Finally after a few years of complaining to my doc and being fobbed off, they sent me for a MRI Aug 2019. Turns out I have arthritis in my lower back and have spondylolisthesis which is a slipped and fractured vertebrae. This is pinching on a nerve in my spine. During lock down, like most, my B12 injections were stopped for 6 months. I started getting them again but since this, my back has been outright agony during the early hours of the morning. I now have sciatica as the nerve pain caused by the pinched nerve in my back is travelling down my legs. Has anyone developed similar and more so after the B12 injections were stopped? I work full time. I don't claim disability benefits as I don't consider myself disabled but more of a health condition however, due to lack of sleep, I'm really struggling with my job. I'm just wondering if there's a connection to how bad things have gotten after they stopped my injections. Of course, the doctors won't agree to this!

Your B12 injections should not have been stopped if you have been diagnosed with PA. Sounds like you have a very poor GP.

Be mindful of linking ever ailment to B12/PA as it can drive you up the wall and risks masking other illnesses.
