Hi, is anyone using insulin needles for subcutaneous injections and is that far in enough? I bruise fairly frequently from injection into stoma fat using a 1/2 inch needle. I thought you couldn’t change needles for the insulin ones?

I'm using 30G 1/2 " very fine for sc Injections

Type one diabetics tend to uses pens now which have different needles. (31g for a pen )

Before pens 30 g was used with a syringe.

I inject in belly fat 2" away from belly button. Or thighs . Back of hip.

Many places with subcutaneous fat
