Do people with low B12 tend to feel better in the morning?

This is all new to me and it has hit me hard. I have noticed that I feel better right when I wake up and I have about an hour of feeling okay...and then I fade quickly. Do people with PA tend to feel better in the morning?

Welcome FeelingHopeful,

Sorry to hear you are unwell. Did you have other bloods taken as well ? Especially your ferritin, folate and vitamin D tested.

It changes for me. At times the day improves as it goes on when I've woken up groggy I never actually have the ' old ' feeling of refreshed after sleep.

With me it's more head problems either waking with a headache or skull tightness .

Other days I wake and fir a few minutes ni tinnitus no tight skull. Then I move and it changes!!

I've come ri the conclusion ni rhyme or reason at times and not to over think it.

Its hig me hard too as I love life, music, being out ect

Just walked around the block 9 mins. Slight hill my body did not like . My glasses lock like a vice so not weak but heavy headed and tired eyes and vision.

Perhaps go slower in the morning to make that feeling last longer?

I've found if I can function for a while I can try and do too many things. (Well many...meaning doing something! (

I think it's a new way of life to try and make the most of and try and go with the rollercoaster . T C

I’m the same as Hidden , I’m not good in the mornings.

I hear of people who are morning people and those who are night time people. However, I’m not sure when I peak as it takes me a while to come to in the morning but from mid afternoon my energy levels start sinking.

Nevertheless, if I have something that needs doing I make sure I schedule it in for the morning as that’s when I have my energy.

If you also tend to go to bed later rather than earlier - like after 10.30 pm then you are an owl - possibly. Everyone has a low point in the afternoon - its why we have our tea then - as our blood glucose is at its lowest and many other activity indicators fall - they then pick up at six ish. It's called diurnal rhythm.

I’m the same as JanD236 .

I feel tired in the morning as I’m back to waking every 2 hours so I get up make my tea then start organising my day because by lunchtime I’m knackered again but not sleepy knackered just drained of get up and go.So yes a morning person rather than later. X

I can’t do mornings I suffer with more pain and have to have time to adjust. It’s like my body has to prepare to move and get energy together to get up and be awake. Around 11am is a good time for me think people are different, some times it’s 2pm but then I’m considered lazy but I can’t help what my body wants I go along with it than fight it
