I’ve recently just had my bloods back from my GP and my B12 level was in range, which I was really happy about! However folate levels are now really really low, and looks like I need to go for a test on my thyroid.
I’ve had bad burning pains in my sides above from my hips the last few days? Does anyone else get this?
Hope you’re all keeping well!

Since NHS thyroid test is usually only TSH, sometimes also FT4, there are a few other thyroid tests you might want to consider having, which can be done by postal blood test privately, for a fuller picture. FT3 included, and antibody tests anti-TPO and anti-TG.
I think I got 6 done for £60.
My thyroid was okay, but struggling a bit - I got help with interpreting results from here: quite a few people have both PA and thyroid condition (usually Hashimoto's).
Two of my sisters have Grave's disease, which is why I wanted a more thorough check.
Good that your GP is doing the right tests. Sorry that you're not stabilised yet, but you will get there.
