Doctors refusing B12 on prescription

I have been on B12 for for nearly 30 years

I was advised my doctors would no longer do injections due to Covid.

I have been getting these done routinely by my friend who is a nurse

My doctors invited me for a blood test and I advised the nurse that I had been receiving B 12 during Covid.

I requested a B12 on my repeat prescription and was informed that my levels were ok and that I would not be getting them any longer?

What can I do I do not want to go back to the symptoms I had way back.

Your doctor is not treating you correctly.

Are you a member of the pernicious anaemia society? Their website contains a guide for doctors on COVID and treating PA. I’m not sure if this information is in the members only section or not.

The surgery want to test my mum as also stopped b12 I jections. They said this after I questioned why they are being stopped.

One on injections testing is not necessary. Its outrageous this is happening.

I canr get my mum to the surgery so she will not have the blood test. I've not given up yet. . It's due next month when she 91! Usually done 3 monthly by a district nurse

Of course your levels are okay, you have been having injections! Battle on.
