What does 'trunk weakness' feel like?

Me again..!

I was wondering what trunk weakness felt like? I think I have it but I can't decide if it's just general 'unfitness'.

I'd be very grateful for any experience anyone would like to share!

Can you do press ups but not sit ups?

That might suggest weakness in the abdominal (trunk) muscles.

Yes! Used to be able to do sit ups but can't now. Struggle putting my children down too. Picking them up seems to be fine because I use my knees if I have to bend my middle to put them down it's risky!
