Hi my doctor just came back with my blood test and said I need to loose some weight. Honestly, I don’t trust doctors anymore than I can throw them. She put me on new thyroid pills I told last one I was allergic to and told me to take more Vitamin D, magenism, and probiotics. Now I work at a physical stressful job. An get dizzy spells often I want a second opinion on this diet because I CANNOT be having dizzy spells at work. An with me being I want to make sure this diet is safe for people with hIstory of PA. I am going to start my diet as soon as I get my thyroid pills. ( That an I forgot that I can’t have Italian dressing >.> and I already made my lunch for work)
Whole30 diet: Hi my doctor just came... - Pernicious Anaemi...
Whole30 diet
I'd start by having the food you are used to but less of it . Get started on your tablets before making any big dietary changes. If you csn walk a bit more ect. Take it from there
Is your b12 frequency right too?
If you have been diagnosed with a thyroid problem then do come and join us on the Thyroid UK Forum. Many of us have a thyroid issue along with PA/B12D.
It would be good to obtain copies of your results with ranges so you can monitor your own progress and check what had been missed !
How much VitD are you taking ? Are you taking folate/B9 with the B12 ? Do you have Hashimotos ? What is your dose of Levo ?
The Whole 30 is effective and you can have Italian Dressing - home made so you know what is in it !!
Sorry for the questions ! I have Hashimotos and a B12 issue so know how complicated it can be !
You need to eat the sensible diet -
Lots of fresh fruit and veg, of different colours; plenty of nuts, seeds and pulses; meat or fish several times a week; top up to the required number of calories with fats and carbohydrates.
Keep within those rules and you can eat what you like.
