Sorry for long post I have had reoccurring low levels of iron and b12 and folate. Originally I tbought it was because of my periods, as they were very heavy. I had a full historectomy 6 years ago , then had very bad salmonella food poisoning vomiting blood etc in 2016, then last year I had 5 gastric ulcers none prior to this, since then I have had to take ppi to control the ulcer and have felt really low energy unable to concentrate migraines really regularly never other than an odd one prior I also have a bad back so I went and got a b12 shot 2 weeks ago I got a slight improvement but not much so went back and they ran tests. I rang for the tests yesterday and they said i was in range for everything other than vit d so I asked for my number i am 198 so I challenged as I know previously that for me this is not good enough I operate ok at 400 but bellw that I am rubbish any suggestions for me ? thanks in advance.

Yes . As you know your b12 was higher in the past and barely in range now 198 I would definitely push for b12 injections with your last reading and medical history.

They should also give toy loading doses of vit d if low. You dont mention kevel for that . I assume 198is b12

Why this has been ignored by your go I do not know.

A one off b12 injection is not a 'cure all'

Get a print off your blood results. As if only just in range the computer does not raise a red flag !
