Flue jabs.......

Hi all, I am, like so many others on here fed up of reading injections are being stopped due to covid.....I had my own battle with my surgery to get my injection....was told several different reasons once I asked questions about why? I wasn't going to get my b12 injection,I even wrote to my local MP who did some investigating & he received a letter from one of the government departments that clearly said, surgeries should talk with the patient as to whether they have covid syptoms if no syptoms the patient should continue to receive their injection, but I keep wondering what is going to happen when the flue injections start,( that's not that far away) are the surgeries suddenly! going to allow us all in to get our flu injection, are we suddenly going to be allowed back! into the surgery in what are large numbers at a time at my surgery, flu injections are very much needed by many of us vulnerable folk......so too are our B12 injections.

Very good point.

I bet they will happen as I'm getting cynical.

Targets and money involved there

Even though at the end of the day. B12 injections essential.

Flu jabs a precaution

"Explain yourself out of that one, sunshine!!"

Great point - well done!

Yet another way of showing the hypocrisy and lunacy of it all!

Pharmacies in the US give flu shots. I prefer that; much quicker/more convenient.

I have my flu shot at the pharmacy much quicker and safer than the GPs! I also do my own B12 shots for the last 2 years.

I wish my new pharmacy could also do blood draws, I had to go to hospital this morning to have bloods drawn and wait in a very busy corridor for 30 mins along with umpteen other patients it was terrible. What the hell are our practice nurses doing when we have to go at a far greater Covid risk to hospital for blood tests,I had my b12 injection at practice yesterday why couldn’t blood be drawn at the same time instead of making me go to a very busy hospital ,it’s outrageous they’re really taking the pee in these practices.
