Forgot this

Typical, I forgot the reason for my post. In desperation I phone the BMI Albyn hospital in Aberdeen. They do B12 injections. I have an appointment next week. The cost is £39 and a trip into the lockdown city! Just thought everyone else struggling in this area should know. Will I tell my heartless GPs? I haven’t decided.

Sorry to hear you've ended up in the same boat as many others here.

I managed to get my injections reinstated by writing to my GP practice using all the excellent information available on this forum to argue my case.

Also complained to NHS Grampian but met a brick wall ...

Please try ordering your B12 from Versandapo using an Amazon account.

I don't speak German, but with Amazon the process was very easy and delivered promptly, I think it's an excellent service this company provide.

I'm sure other pharmacies are good too.

My next battle, when things settle down regarding Covid, will be to argue the case with my GP to provide an NHS prescription which would allow me to self inject weekly as I do at present.

We shouldn't have to pay privately when we are NHS patients, but I'm waiting for the heavens to fall when I suggest that !!
