I was diagnosed with PA about a year ago and now get injections every 10 weeks.
I have been vegetarian for around 43 years. I was put on Lansoprazole to ease heartburn caused by antidepressants. I was using it for years. I had no idea it could be harmful.
In spite of injections I am still very tired , often deep sighing and deep breathing and feel my balance is off kilter. I bought myself a pack of Well Woman 70+ but I'm not using it yet. I'm not sure if it will be compatible with the B12 injections because it has lots of vitamins in it that are thought to be helpful to women in their 70s.
Any advice will be welcome.

If you have PA then you may find that you don't absorb other minerals and vitamins from your food. Taking the supplements shouldn't do any harm - unless it contains ridiculous amounts of some vitamins such as B6
However, is it possible that the frequency of your injections might actually be the issue. Are you good after the injection but then the symptoms start coming back over time.
Mine start returning within 24 hours unless I'm using additional B12 supplements.
My symptoms seem to ease short term, but mainly I just feel unwell most of the time. I am reluctant to go for walks now because I feel a little bit unsteady and tire quite easily. I'm going to see about much more frequent injections.
I have heard you need to boost other nutrients as well because the body uses them up once you have B12 back to start making new cells etc. Taking the supplement you have bought as well as having the B12 should be completely safe - as far as I have learned. There are people here that know far more than me so hopefully someone will comment, or you could look for old posts on the subject. Good Luck.
