TSH is Thyroid Stimulating Hormone and comes from the Pituitary Gland. Your result looks as if it is in range even though you haven't given one !

TSH - tells the thyroid to produce T4 - a storage hormone. This must then convert into T3 - the Active hormone needed in every cell of your body. Hashimotos needs to be ruled out so test Anti-bodies TPO & Tg.

Important to have FULL Testing done.

Wrong forum.

You want the Thyroid UK forum.

Question is off topic for this forum (though many members do have both PA and auto-immune thyroid conditions.

Result is in the normal range but there are similar problems with the normal range for TSH as there are with the normal range for serum B12 - possibly more so as TSH levels do vary during the day.
