Please be carefull ordering from Versandapo. They give two delivery methods. I have usually had DHL, but l have had great trouble getting my parcel. Long story short, they delivered to wrong address signed for by stranger. I am in lockdown DHL said that I was out. No redelivery card. Still in conversation with Versandapo to try and resolve this. I've had parcels from Versandapo delivered with a glitch in the address.
Possibly, because we have a house name, but no number. So the house name was missed off the address. It was sent to - My Name, My Street, My Town. Luckily the delivery driver for DHL recognised the name, so it arrived OK.
I guess your driver just delivered it to the first house he came to.
If you know your neighbours it may be worth asking around.
Just had a lovely reply from Versandapo. They are going to send a replacement. Result!!
It might be worth getting in contact with DHL to warn them that they make have a parcel from Germany heading to your postcode with a partial address.
I have asked them to use their alternative courier. The 'chat with them has been extensive ,and l have used them 4 times before, soooooo, fingers crossed. Thanks for support.
I have had the same problem with Bodfeld Apotheke because I don’t have a house number. The German postal system needs a house number. I had to get a German friend to phone them to explain that we often don’t have house numbers here. They have tried to get around it by putting 0 as the house number.
My delivery went to an address in another Street but the owner of the property bought it round to me it was the DHL driver that got our cul-de-sacs confused
On both deliveries from Versanspo via DHL I have received a phone call to say the driver is in my street but has no house number. DHL said I should make sure the company know I have a house number for next time!! I have to say though I am impressed with speed of delivery and price.

Contact DHL direct - they should have sent you an email advising you of the collection date and the tracking number, They should have emailed you when delivery was completed. DHL are liable to correct their mistake - not you.
