What notification do we get of delivery date of B12 from Versandapo

Having placed an order with Versandapo I have had an email confirming my purchase and I can see that it has been despatched. My question is does the deilvery company DHL send any emails to give a date for delivery. I looked at the DHL tracking of the purchase on the Versandapo web site which says it is still in Germany. Will it be updated as time goes by so I know which date I need to stay at home to receive the delivery.

I don’t have the answer but that’s mainly because when I ordered it was with me within a matter of days so I didn’t get round to tracking it. So fingers crossed it will be the same for you.

JanD236 I don't mind how long it takes. It is more about knowing the day of the delivery so I can be at home to receive the parcel.

They left mine on my doorstep, hidden behind a plant pot as I wasn’t in. I hadn’t arranged this (although it’s my standing arrangement with Amazon).

Not so good in this very hot weather I guess.

Just an aside.... I always keep some ampoules in the car (better that than be without) and use them from time to time and I haven't noticed a major difference in them so I don't worry too much about the heat....

Out of interest denisemilden why do you do this? If you already inject daily, do you sometimes have extra?

My memory is better than it was and I have a routine but if I did accidentally leave home without having done my jab, by the time I noticed I might not be able to get home!!

And I have a kit made up with several days worth of spares of all my "pills and potions" (my name for my supporting supplements!) which goes everywhere with me and everyone I am with always knows that if they ever cart me off to hospital it MUST go with me coz there's no good getting treatment for an accident if I'm going to snuff it of all my deficiencies!!

That’s a good idea. I am much better with injecting daily now but still forget sometimes which I know has an impact on me. Do you have 2 sharps bins as well?

I keep an ex medicine bottle with a child proof top, that's big enough to take used ampoules and needles, in my kit and I put used sharps in there until I get home and can transfer them to my yellow bin.

Technically you can track DHL parcels all the way and I'm sure you can choose your notifications.

Personally I much preferred it when they used our standard post and my postman delivered them but saying that I have always got my DHL parcels, albeit with added stress!!

deniseinmilden The tracking number only works at the DHL german end. I got a new UK Mail tracking number in the email they sent me the morning of delivery but the email was too late as I had already gone out

DHL independently advised me of my order status once it reached the UK mainland and the date of delivery. I was given the option to change this. The day prior to the delivery they texted me with the estimated hour of arrival. They were very good.

Just to update my delivery. I had been tracking from my order on the Versandapo site and had noticed it had arrived in the UK yesterday. The german tracking number didn't work on the UK Mail web site. I received an email this morning after I went out stating it would be delivered between 1 & 2pm. Got home 2.15 pm to find the parcel had been thrown over my 5 foot high gate to my back garden.

Not impressed with delivery. Suppose I should open each box now and check that none of the vials are broken. Hope they are all OK.

Crumbs, not good! Mind you, at least you have got the precious cargo! Hopefully, in tact! I found exactly the same as you with the german tracking number.
