www.versandapo.de seem to be delivering to U.K. again.

I just tried to order Panpharma VitaminB12 depot from versandapo.de, just to see if they would deliver to U.K. again . It seems that they do . It’s always good to have a choice of suppliers . They accept PayPal or Bank transfer for payment .

They charge €9.00 for DHL courier , no matter how many are ordered

For me this is unbelievably good news as the others don't seem to do the Pascoe brand ones that do 1.5mg in 1ml hydroxocobalamin.

Thank you for letting me know!

wedgewood in reply todeniseinmilden

I checked for Pascoe 1.5 as well - they have them at a good price !

Chocolate41 profile image
Chocolate41 in reply towedgewood

Hi could you send the link for Pascoe 1.5 please Wedgewood. Thanks

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply toChocolate41

I don’t know how to do links , but if you type in the pharmaceutical reference numbers that every German pharmaceutical item has , , you get straight to the item you require For 10 packets of 10 ampoules of the Pascoe 1.5 the number is 07568695 cost is €81.38

For 1 packet of 10 the number is 07568672 cost €18.18 So it’s cheaper to buy 100 ampoules than to buy more than 4 0 !

Best wishes .

P.S. The price of 100 went up by €10 whilst I was looking all this up . So they might change again by the time you order . Anyhow those prices are correct at the moment !

I did write to them soon after Brexit saying that there were loads of us who would buy from them if they were able to sort it out for us so I hope people do use them to support their efforts! 👍

I think that your plea worked ! They have the cheapest courier delivery , and the fact that they accept PayPal ( but not cards ) as well as as Bank Transfer , will make them popular.

That's fantastic news. Is there a limit on how many boxes you can order . Say 200 or 300 ampules in a single order? Simply to have a good stock of b12 as I still am SI EOD.

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply toWorkingProgress

i honestly don’t know . I’ve only ever ordered 100 . Why not just try ? Versandapo is popular because their stock is always fresh and they award points which you can cash in !

100 is good I will simply order on several occasions plus pay pal makes it so very easy simply a couple of clicks.

I don't understand all the post-Brexit tax rules but watch out for large orders as I believe anything above £135 has to pay UK import duty and this is in addition to any VAT requirements. I am going by this Guardian article although it is a bit dated because it was written only weeks after the new rules came into force.

theguardian.com/money/2021/...

I don't understand the reference made to "gifts". Can anyone who understands this kindly advise? The article states:

"Anyone in the UK receiving a gift from the EU worth more than £39 will now face a bill for import VAT at 20%."

helvella profile image
helvella in reply toCetus

Duty is only levied on dutiable goods - alcohol, tobacco, bits of bicycles, etc. Mostly, duty is actually at a fairly low percentage rate.

VAT is payable regardless the value. Under £135, it would usually be collected by the marketplace/portal you use. Over £135, it would usually be collected by the courier, in the UK, adding on their customs clearance charges.

Gifts are things that are sent as presents. If you personally sent a toy to a relative in another country... So if someone in the EU sends you an item, declares it is a gift, but it is worth more than £39, you will face a bill for VAT and whatever charges for customs clearance/collecting the money.

Despite all this, some people do sometimes "get away" with charges.

You could try ordering more ,as this pharmacy supplies fresh ampoules which have a use-by date of at least 2years . All you need to do is keep them dark and under 25 celsius .

Cetus profile image
Cetus in reply towedgewood

If you buy a large stock, then can the excess be stored in the fridge for a year or two?

helvella profile image
helvella in reply toCetus

I posted earlier specific advice for one make that it must not be allowed to freeze. Is the temperature in your refrigerator guaranteed never to reach freezing point?

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply tohelvella

I have only ever kept B12 ampoules in the very top of the fridge , in the door actually ,, which is the warmest part of the fridge .I keep a fridge thermometer with the ampoules . It’s never less than 10 Celsius . I’ve done this for several years and there’s never been a problem with the efficacy of the ampoules . It’s a small fridge which I keep for fresh veg ,so it never reaches freezing . It is not on the lowest setting .

helvella profile image
helvella in reply towedgewood

I was really pointing it out as some refrigerators do fancy defrosts with superfast cooling after, some have rubbish thermostats, etc.

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply toCetus

I wouldn’t want to buy more B12 ampoules than I could use before the use-by date . As I said before , the large pharmacies have a good turnover and I have only received ampoules that had a use by date of 2years , and often nearly 2 1/2 years . So work out how many ampoules you will use in say 28 months . You could keep them in the top of the fridge if you wished , but it’s not 100% necessary. As it happens, that’s what I do . . And just take out ampoules that you would use in a couple of weeks .

wedgewood Was the Panpharma Vitamin B12 depot you saw at VersandApo in a pack of 100? I want 100mcg hydroxocobalamin x100 but whichever supplier I look at, they seem out of stock.

Based on past experience with no stock, is it likely this will become available once again in the next week or two? I'm currently using a lot of B12 and don't want to run out over Christmas.

wedgewood profile image
wedgewood in reply toCetus

The panpharma B12 is exactly the same as the Rotexmedica that we all knew . Still made at the German laboratories in Trittau , Northern Germany. But they have been taken over by the French company Panpharma . , who now have decided to market them , using their name . They are only selling them in packs of 10 . I don’t know if they intend to sell them in the bulk packs of 10 x 10 . If i were you i would just buy 10 of the single packs . They have a new pharmaceutical reference number which is 16199653. Just put this in the search box and you will get straight to them . They cost €7.59 at the moment and then €9.00 DHLcourier. Bodfeld are charging €6.98 plus €9.98 courier . All other suppliers charge more for courier delivery

I’ve been looking on a daily basis to see if they will sell the 10 x 10 packs of ampoules and will let everyone know if they do . But i really would just buy several packets of 10 in the meanwhile for peace of mind .

When you look for Rotexmedica they will come up as out of stock . If you did find some they would be old stock and you want fresh .

Best wishes .

Cetus profile image
Cetus in reply towedgewood

wedgewood Yes you're right: when I write 100 ampoules of Rotexmedica (Panpharma), I mean as a manufacturer's bundle of 10 packs of 10.

Thank you kindly for those cost figures. It seems the cost of buying 10 single packs of 10 Rotexmedica (at €75.90 or €69.80 from Bodfeld) is much the same as a box of 100 Pascoe 1.5mg ampoules, which I see is €74 from Versandapo. That surplus 0.5mg dose can always be discarded, or even injected for a stronger effect.

As a result of all the excellent advice in this thread, I placed my order today.

Some online pharmacies that will ship to U.K.

Brexit has caused problems for German online pharmacies that were supplying vitaminB12 ampoules to the U.K. They now have to register with U.K. customs and collect any VAT for them and have extra paper work , customs documents etc because we have voted to leave the single European market .So many of those pharmacies have given up shipping to U.K. . Some , thank goodness, still do

The following are the various brands that are supplied..

Panpharma ( used to be called Rotexmedica) have 1mg x1ml B12 depot ampoules

Hevert have 1mg x 2ml. B12 depot ampoules .

Pasco have 1.5 x 1ml B12 depot ampoules .

versandapo.de has now resumed deliveries

to U.K. . Large and reliable pharmacy . Charge €9.00 for DHL delivery . Accept payment by Paypal and Bank Transfer . You can earn points when you purchase .

bodfeld-apotheke.de. A large and reliable pharmacy , but they now only accept payments from U.K. by Bank Transfer . Simple and free of charge if you have mobile/ internet banking. They supply the information you need to make a transfer . Otherwise it’s a trip to your bank and a charge of £25.00!

Courier costs €9.89

versandapo.de Delivery €9.00 by DHL courier .

Payment by PayPal or Bank Transfer .

apotheke-marienbrunn.de Delivery €12.95

The drop-down list of countries on this site calls the U.K.

“Vereinigtes Königreich Grossbritanniens und Nord Irland”

( The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in case you don’t recognise it !)

shop.apotal.de courier €19.95 takes PayPal and cards

apohealth.de. click on American flag for English(!)

Courier €14.90

pharma24.de

curavendi.de. Courier €19.34

Amazon.de ( German Amazon) Obtainable in English

At the moment they are not stocking Panpharma b12 Depot . They have Hevert B12 Depot , but they come in 1mg x 2ml ampoules . Panpharma come in 1mg x 1ml ampoules . Reasonable delivery charges .

——————————————————————————

Search for Panpharma B12 depot ( Hydroxocobalamin)

These ampoules are 1mg x 1ml

But if you use the following reference numbers , you will get the ampoules you want.

For packets of 10 and multiples thereof — 16199653

For packets of 100 — not available at the moment

This is correct for September 2021 . Can be out of stock sometimes , but only for a day or two "

If a site is only in German , use Google Chrome or a translation app.

Hevert also have B12 depot ( Hydroxocobalamin) ampoules They are 1mg x 2ml though -same strength but more saline Also more expensive

Pascoe make 1.5mg x 1 ml ampoules .

Needles, syringes ,swabs and yellow sharps disposal boxes are obtainable from-

medisave.co.uk

exchangesupplies.org. ( Needles and syringes)

Intra-muscular injection needles 25G x 1inch

Sub-cutaneous injection needles 30G x 1/2 inch

Withdrawing needles 21G x 1 1/2 inches.

Blunt ended needles with or without a filter are also obtainable.( to withdraw the solution out of the ampoule ) using the injection needle for this will make it blunt (Ouch!)

Hi everyone,

I am Duncan from Hull, in the UK. I have just been diagnosed as having PE. I don't know what the exact number are but my B12 is so low it's barely registering. I have been scared for about 3 years that I was starting with early onset dementia (I'm 32 now). But, it turns out the lack of B12 is stripping the Myelin Sheeth off of my nerves in my brain, spinal chord, and peripheral nervous system. My memory and ability to perform tasks is dreadful, my ability to learn new skills and procedures is now none existent, I can't retain new information, and I often become dizzy, confused, or delirious. I also have pin and needles in my feet, my vision has been affected, and my already substantial pain level are going through the roof. While my sexual functioning, and ability to feel emotions normally. I'm struggling particularly badly with a lack of empathy, and extreme feeling of inappropriate guilt.

I would appreciate any insights, and any advice anyone can give me. What hope is there at this point of the damage being reversible. I have already ordered B12 jabs from Versand, but are there alternative to Versand if they has supply issues?

Thanks lovely people.

Dear Duncan1992 . You have my every sympathy . I have myself been in a very bad place with Pernicious Anaemia . The ignorance of most of the medical profession is truly outrageous. I’m really sorry that you have had to suffer . You should be treated by your GP. But even then it is terribly difficult to get the regularity of injections that you need . Also many GPs are telling their patients that they can use B12 tablets instead of having injections . ( they don’t want the expense of employing nurses to do the injections) Pernicious Anaemia patients produce antibodies that destroy the Parietal cells in the stomach . These cells produce stomach acid and The Intrinsic Factor , both of which are needed to absorb vitamin B12,, which is the most difficult vitamin to absorb . The lack of stomach acid leads to Hypochlorhydria or Achlorhydria ,which can give rise to stomach pain . This can be helped by looking after your gut health with fermented foods like real yoghurt sauerkraut kefir etc I make my own kefir

So glad that you have found this forum . I couldn’t sleep and came across your message . I will send you some help sheets when I get up later .

Yes , there are other excellent German online pharmacies that will deliver to U.K. You will have to inject every other day for as long as it takes to improve your physical and mental health . It can take quite some time . You will have as much help as you need on this forum

.I will send you more help sheets when I’m up and running . Best wishes .

Your message appeared on my screen It says 4 hours ago , but I can’t find it when I go on the present messages on the forum ! It is buried in other messages that are all 3 years old ! I don’t understand this at all . Never have come across such a strange situation i’m 11 years on this forum .

In case you suddenly disappear . I must tell you that you can get B12 ampoules from

apohealth.de They are in Munich .

The site is in English and their delivery charges are lower than versandapo

It’s great that you cannot overdose on B12. Also it’s good to take a modest dose of folic acid daily as it works together with B12. There is a new type of folic acid available called Methyfolate which some people prefer .

i hope that you get my message . If you need help in future do put a fresh message on the main forum . Then I will be able to find you . Otherwise it will be buried amongst the messages that are 3 years old !

How to inject Intramuscularly

First obtain needles, syringes , swabs and a yellow sharps disposal box from medisave.co.uk

You need a 26 or 27G x 1inch injection needle

A long withdrawal needle say 1 1/2 inches long.

A 2ml syringe ( I like Luer Lock syringes because the needle is screwed onto it , which makes it very stable and safe ) 2 ml is the best size even if the ampoule is 1ml .

A Pack of injection swabs if you like

Definitely a yellow bin .

An ampule snapper .

Strict hygiene must be observed.

Flick the top of the ampoule to make the contents flow into the bottom

Snap open the ampoule after finding the spot on the neck of the ampoule which indicates the breaking point .

Fix the long withdrawal needle on the syringe . Pull out the plunger, insert the needle to the bottom of the ampoule then inject air into the ampoule , then you can suck out all the contents of the ampoule, and not leave a drop behind .

Remove the withdrawal needle and replace it with the injection needle . Now expel the air that is in the syringe by pressing the plunger , till a tiny bead of red B12 appears on the end of the needle. Now you are ready to inject into the muscle in the outer middle third of your thighs where is is nearest the surface. This muscle is called the VASTUS LATERALIS . Look it up on the internet . (You could practise injecting into an orange first , not using b12 , obviously ! ) You should use both thighs alternately for each injection. Press the plunger slowly .

All done . I remember being horribly nervous the first time. It will become so easy and natural in a short time . It’s best if you have your very first injection of B12 in a medical setting as there is a very rare chance of a reaction called anaphylaxis ( like some people have to a bee sting) . It is very rare, but I feel that I must mention it.

You can inject B12 by means of a sub-cutaneous injection . This method works very well . A much shorter , finer injection needle is used( 30G x 1/2 inch or shorter ) You inject into the tummy fat or the front of the thigh. Do look this up on the internet . The absorption into the blood should be slower with sub-cut , as the fat layer is not so well endowed with blood vessels as the muscles are . Good luck to all

We obtain our B12 depot ( Hydroxocobalamin ampoules from German online pharmacies . These pharmacies are strictly controlled by the German health authorities

versandapo.de This is a reliable pharmacy which many members use . They use DHL courier which costs €17.49no matter how many packs of ampoules you buy . You can pay with PayPal or Bank Transfer .

They stock the most popular brand called Panpharma B12 Depot . “ DEPOT” indicates that the type of B12 is Hydroxocobalamin , which is the kind that the NHS uses. Hydroxocobalamin is written on the packet . The ampoules are 1mg x 1ml . The reference number for this item is 16199653. If you search with this number , you get straight to the item . This site is in German , so you might need to use Google Chrome or a translation app.

If the ampoules are out of stock ( nicht lieferbar) It usually takes a day or two for them to be back in stock .

It usually takes 4 working days for delivery .

apohealth.de Also reliable . Available in English ( click on the Union Jack , Bottom Left on my device ) Their delivery prices are more reasonable than versandapo , but the packets of Panpharma are a bit dearer at the time of writing this. Ref no 16199653. Site available in English .

Pascoe b12 depot ampoules 1.5mg x 1ml

Reference no 07568673 1 pack of 10 ampoules

Pascoe b12 depot ampoules 1.5mg x 1ml

Reference no.07568695 10 packs of 10 ampoules cheapest way to buy them

—————————————————————————

Hevert b12 depot ampoules 1mg x 2ml

Reference no. 06078368 1 packet of 10 ampoules

Hevert b12 ampoules 1mg x 2ml

Reference no 06078380 - 10 packets of 10 ampoules

—————————————————————————

It pays to compare prices, and delivery charges .

amazon.de also stock the Hevert b12 depot and Pascoe b12 depot brands.( “DEPOT “ indicates Hydroxocobalamin ) But not Panpharma

This site is available in English . They deliver for a reasonable charge using their own courier service.

Reference numbers cannot be used on Amazon .This site can be obtained in English .

When filling out the address form on the German online pharmacy sites , you MUST PUT IN YOUR COUNTRY FIRST OF ALL. . U.K. CAN BE SHOWN ON THE DROP-DOWN LIST AS “ GROSSBRITTANIEN” , or “ VEREINIGTES KÖNIGREICH “ United Kingdom etc . This will enable your post code and the rest of your address to be accepted by the computer. If you don’t do this , you won’t be able to continue and place your order , and you might start tearing your hair out!

It pays to register with German online pharmacies . Makes it easier when re-ordering .

Price — Panpharma b12 depot is always charged at the retail price in German High Street pharmacies . Online German pharmacies always give discounts . .
