Side effects of b12?

I started b12 yesterday sublingual and today I feel flushed and burn all over. My heart rate feels increased and I feel shaky. This is after 1 small tablet. Is this normal? Will it go away? I don’t know if I should continue.

Was this methylcobalamin? Several people have reported problems with that.

Why did you take it? Do you have a definite B12 deficiency?

Yes it was, I don’t have high levels . I was taking it as I have GERD and have read studies that said it helped for this. Thanks for replying

No. B12 cannot possibly help with GERD.

People with Pernicious Anaemia will have low B12 and they may have the symptoms of GERD. But both of those are caused by the same thing - autoimmune gastritis. Fixing one will not fix the other. You can increase the B12, but you still have the gastritis which is causing the GERD.
