B12 Deficiency

I was diagnosed with B12 deficiency last September and given loading doses but nothing since. I don't want to go to the GP's surgery during lock-down as I am in the vulnerable category but feel I need something to help as all of my symptoms have returned. Is self-injecting the only way to address the deficiency? I have skin problems and bleed copiously when I have injections and since I'm on an anti-coagulant this is not idea. Are oral/sub-lingual supplements really ineffective? Thanks.

You need to contact your doctor and ask them for advice.

Hi there why don’t you arrange a telephone consultation with your gp it will save you having to make any visits and you will get the relevant advice for you and hopefully it’ll take all that guesswork away

Ive found the gps to be excellent at calling me back give it a try.good luck xx
