Hi all,

I was lucky enough to buy some b12 from Germany before they stopped shipping... but i didn't buy needles or other bits. I'm due my injection in about 3 weeks and its looking like more and more surgeries are now refusing. Can anyone recommend where I will be able to get these from please... just incase.

Thanks,

Karen

I got mine from medisave recently. Just dont order the alcohol wipes at present as it slowed my order down. Others use this site too.

Thanks for that... what ones should I order... I didn't realise the vast amount of different sizes etc.

Cheers,

Karen

Are you planning on injecting intramuscular (the way the doctor/nurse does it) or subcutaneously (into the fat).

For both you'll need a large green needle to suck it up. I use medisave.co.uk/b-d-microlan...

For IM injections you'll want these - medisave.co.uk/b-d-microlan...

For SC you'll need - medisave.co.uk/b-d-microlan...

For syringes I use - medisave.co.uk/bd-emerald-h...

All are currently in stock

Oh god .. i hadn't thought and was only thinking of doing it whilst doctors may be closed or refusing to give the injections over the next few months. Seems a waste getting a hundred of the needles.

Thanks for all the info

Sorry ... but which is the easiest option. My partner has said he will do it if he has to

I would do IM into the arm, like the doctor does.

Chemists do a 1ml and 2ml pack of needles and syringes it comes with x10 needles/syringes + alcohol swabs

Search for a local chemist that does the NHS Needle and syringe exchange (it's free) they will ask you for your initials and D.O.B.
