B12 injection frequency

Can anyone supply a link to a quick reference guide to frequency of B12 injections so that my daughter can ‘direct’ GP on right treatment path. GP seems resistant to increase frequency to every 2 months despite her obvious recurrence of symptoms between 6/8 weeks. Have tried searching PAS website, getting tied in knots. TIA

Ask your doctor to check the online version of the British National Formulary (BNF). The entry for hydroxocobalamin was changed over a year ago -

This actually says even with neuro complication, after the loading dose, it’s 2-3 monthly ?

Did you mean 'without' neuro complication?

With neurological involvement it's 2 monthly.
