B12 injection hasn’t worked this time

On 4 weekly B12 injections for almost a year now but the last one i got 2 weeks ago doesn’t seem to have worked. I usually see a difference in energy but after the last injection it’s as if I didn’t get one at all & just getting progressively worse. Anyone experienced this?

I'm guessing that you are not in the U.K. and that you are being injected with cyanocobamalin.

I have been on cyano for over 47 years and during that time I found it "needful" to slip in the occasional three week one instead of the prescribed four weekly injections. In fact I am now permanently on three weekly intervals.

I am not a medically trained person but suggest that you talk to your doctor about increasing the frequency of your injections to see if there is any improvement.

I did after my last one. I'm having hydrox b12 2 weekly.

It's such a strange thing

It's happened before. I've never got symptom free but was very noticable what it was doing when a few have "failed'

Perhaps just more was needed at the time?? Who knows

Yes I had this a few months ago, I'm on 8 weekly hydroxy usually feel rubbish by about week 6 so feel a massive boost after the jab but in September it was like I hadn't had it at all. I felt so terrible rang the doctors to explain and ask if there was any chance of bringing my next jab forward but they wouldn't even consider it so that was what finally pushed me to order everything online. I still get my 8 weekly jabs at the doctors but unknown to them I've also started injections in between at home so I've created my own 4 weekly cycle. Hope you don't have too much of a crash.
