Thanks for that sleepy ,I've had a read ,it does mention the conection, what I keep thing is as I'm been treated for years with b12 and levothyroxine can I still get hives ,wondering if hives is another auto immune, the itch is driving me crazy on times, antihistamin dont work

More usually an allergic reaction. Psoriasis is a variety of skin conditions that can occur with PA, ranging from red raised spots to extreme flaky skin etc.

Last year I purposely went without my injection for six months ,still had urticaria ,so I dont think it is a reaction

Hope you are being optimally treated for your thyroid. Do you have Hashimotos ?

I had horrid itchy arms and bandaged them at night to stop the scratching ! I also used Froicalm .

I have Hashimotos and a B12 issue due to surgery. It could be low T3 which is rarely tested in the NHS. Am currently free from this unpleasant condition. Hope you soon will be too 😥

Thank you marz I will look into having t3 tested

Best to have FT3 done with the FT4 and TSH. Sadly not possible in the NHS. Do you have Hashimotos ? - auto-immune thyroid ?

Yes I did speak about dermatologist telling me there was a conection to both pernicious and thyriod,as I have been treated for both for years ,I started to wonder did he mean it was another autoimmune like thyriod and pernicious, or was it directly related ,yes I have hashimotos ,I will look into test you have suggested, thank you so much . Oh when I told gp what dermatologist said ,gp said it has nothing to do with thyriod and pernicious as I am being treated, so confusing

Having been on the Thyroid UK Forum here on HU for over 8 years I read every day of the lack of knowledge within the medical profession. There are over 104,000 members on TUK - looking for answers their GP's and Endos cannot provide.

If you have one auto-immune disease if is common for others to join in. I have scanned your other posts and read of your lung issues. One of the Admin on TUK has the same - am sure she could be helpful as she has great knowledge. Come and join us

I to get b12 injections but break out in what looks like hives about two weeks before due injection and a craving for sweet foods. I am also a coeliac and my dermatologist thinks its a side effect of being a coeliac . I personally think it's my body craving b12 because it needs it so badly
