Update. Headaches/ Eye strain

Hi guys,

Ive posteda after a while.

So March 2019 I experienced pins and needles on one side and daily headaches. I started treating myself with loading doses and supplements and the tingling went away. I could function but I had the headache since then till July..

July I started taking sibelium for headaches and they vanished. I've stopped shots since last July and currently have some eye strain and weak legs.

Got two MRIs and both were clean.

Got a VEP (visual electrode potential) which was also clean.

Eyes tested. Clean.

But I still have trouble reading for long hours and focussing on moving objects.

I'm going to start shots twice a week from today.

Does anyone know if headaches and symptoms go away with shots?

My b12 was 225 when diagnosed.

Thanks.

How funny, I just posted about nearly the same thing. I've started getting headaches with my injections as well. I'm on once weekly with hydroxocobalamin. I've through about trying 500 mcg x 2 per week instead of 1000 mcg per week to see if that makes a difference. Have you tried tweaking your dose? Also, what type are you using for injections?

I just started today. Injecting twice a week. Can you do reading and function normally otherwise?

I can read okay but I do have issues with my eyes getting blurry on and off...mainly for distance. I already have vision issues and wear glasses/contacts. I've also had issues with seeing flashing lights in my vision. I've had a optical, head, and full spine MRI, plus an EMG and everythign was normal there as well.

Did the high dose injections help in the past?

For the tingling and weakness yes.

But for the headaches, Not really. What did it for me was the migraine tablet.

Did you have many side effects from sibelium?

I ask as am plagued with 3 sorts of headaches it seems. Ongoing.

B12 injectio s have been really good on alot of symptoms

I also have vision problems. Trying to rear sets off headaches and the test disappears from one side. I get pattern glare to the point have thrown out 'busy or striped clothes' am light and noise sensitive too. My prescription dropped 3 stages. B12 got it back to where it was. I can just about manage this small screen with an anti blue filter. No tv or anything g bigger.

I'm really scared because I'm about to pursue an MBA In a couple of months. I'm only 25. So is reading possible if I'm on a biweekly schedule of injections?

Sibelium worked for me for a long time. I'm stopping now. No side effects. Headache was gone.

Yes reading will be fine if it is already .

B12 Injections got my eyes to a better reading place . I'm just needing more Improvements. . Sorry if not clear.

Good to know Sibeloum worked well for you

I have the most terrible eyesight since being diagnosed 9 years ago. My b12 was completely tanked so I think mine is permanently damaged. I’ve been getting retinal migraines which I find really scary. Blurred vision.

I was diagnosed at 225. Is there reading hope for me? I don't want to quit work and studying. :(

I’ve had blurred vision for a couple of years. Was diagnosed last year, but SI as doctors not concerned since blood levels increased. I’ve had migraines with aura too, not sure if it’s connected.

I don't have blurred vision but I'm having trouble focussing my eyes to read and have a headache from reading too much.
