Methyl and headaches

Took my first dose of methyl yesterday. About 2 hours later, awful headache started. Still have it now, it woke me up actually. I had headaches on loading dose of hydroxo back in June, but not of this intensity. I'd have nap and they'd go.

Hmm. Mine usually get better especially given an IV of it. Different forms work for different people maybe try cyano and see if it hurts it too? Since it's a lot cheaper and easier to get

Which methyl are you using? Is it just methyl in it or something added?

It is just methyl.

Have seen previous posts where people have said the same. You could possibly lower the ingoing quantity and see if that alters things. Or as lady awkward suggests try the cyan based, it might be that the methyl is 'too pure' for you.

I've been told by a medic that the headaches can be part of the healing process. i was getting headaches when using methyl sublinguals. Just a thought!

Methyl gave me dreadful headaches. I had to build up a tolerance to it by starting with smaller doses. I can now take as much as I need with no side effects.

I tried the jarrow methylcobalamin lozenges and only used twice as both times got a throbbing headache. I have been having methylcobalamin injections with no headache. However, it may be because the lozenges were my first supplements with low serum b12 so maybe it was part of healing, or if not perhaps something in the supplements

hi

i read on a recent post that someone else had experienced te same with mythel. in their case they pit it down to the additives which were in the make up of it.

i use the Garden of Life B12 mouth spray which is vegan and made only from complete natural sources and is labeled as methyl. check your bottle against The Garden of Life version.

hope this helps.
