I have had night sweats(and day sweats ,palpitations )since my 30's,at moment I am being investigated for acromegaly(I am in no way suggesting you could have it too!)what I am saying is that I am using an amino acid called tyrosine (with a multi b complex)started with quarter of teaspoon a day with powder form and it has stopped the sweats but not the palps but one less symptom is always good!
Hi
No I do not get them from the b12. I was on them 10 years before I had day and night sweats.
I do get them but it’s due to lack of hormones thanks to an overdose of radiation.
I use sage and chlorella.
Also I’ve a sauna which is v useful.
It’s certainly not a common thing.
Have a look at Polymyalgia Rheumatica symptoms. I used to get bad night sweats particularly my chest. So much so I had a towel on the bed-head and a towel under the sheet. I then started to lose weight and had stiffness/pain across the back of my shoulders. I found it difficult to lift my arms above my head to take off a jumper. I went to the GP and my bloods showed raised CPR and ESR, both of which are inflammation markers. It is thought to be an autoimmune disease, and as we all know, if you have one AI you are more likely to develop another. I also have PA and Sjogren's syndrome . There is a PMR forum on HealthUnlocked.

as you can see there are a number of conditions that can cause night sweats - I get them and think it is hormones are still settling down post menopause. For me they tend to happen at regular times of day - definitely one at 06.00 which also suggests that mine are hormonal.
