My travel company say I must present a doctors note or repeat prescription if I want to take syringes for my B12 injections on holiday to Canada. The problem is that I did not go through a doctor and buy from Germany. Anybody been in a similar situation please or has a suggestion?

Holiday in Canada
I recently went to Portugal with only hand luggage. I left the ampules in a box and put them in a clear liquids bag to go through security. The syringes and needles etc I had in a makeup bag which I left in my handbag. I had no problems. Surely you can put syringes, needles in your hold bag and even the ampules. Then maybe take extra ampules to go in your hand luggage (have to go in the clear liquids bag). It’s only a vitamin, even if gps make us feel like it’s some illicit drug!!
I live in Canada and B12 is readily available over the counter at any pharmacy without a prescription. Syringes are easily available also so might be better to just purchase here? I have travelled out of Canada with ampules and syringes though without an issue many times.
That is a very good idea. Thank you.
That sounds very reassuring. thank you.
I travelled to Canada last September with 8 ampoules and needles and syringes. They were in my checked in luggage. I did not declare to anyone that I had them and did not have any problems. Like you I buy them from Germany and do not have any paperwork from my Drs. Have a read of the policy (found on line) for the airline you are travelling with. I flew with Air France and they stated that meditation was permitted. If this is the case then you can use this information to challenge the travel company
