2ml Articlox hurts

I've been SI for almost a year now with Hydroxocobalamin 1mg in 1ml from Mycare.de and have found the process to be easy and pain free. On a recent trip to Greece (Zakynthos) I bought some Articlox b12 1mg in 2ml of solution. Just done the first one of those and my leg is killing me!!! I've never had this with my usual 1ml. Can this amount of discomfort REALLY be down to the additional volume??? If so, I'm thinking it would make sense to split and do 1ml in each thigh by switching to a fresh needle and swapping thighs half way through. Has anyone done this? Or is there something else about articlox that can cause this amount of discomfort?? Appreciate any insight!

TIA.

It must just be the extra volume. I've checked the ingredients and there's nothing in there apart from the normal (water, salt, acetic acid) that you get in every hydroxocobalamin I've used.

So an update. Just did another Articlox 2ml jab. This time splitting the solution between thighs (1ml in each approx). Still way more painful than my normal brand which is this one:

mycare.de/online-kaufen/b12...

Looking at the ingredients you are of course absolutely right. The ingredients look identical. I wonder though if it's possible the concentrations might be slightly different in articlox? If for instance there is more salt or acetic acid then that would account for why it stings like a B*****d when the depot rotexmedica doesn't. Is that possible?

Unfortunately there's no way of telling how much of each excipient there is. However, I'd be surprised if there was any big difference. Those excipients have two jobs - to maintain a certain pH (acidity) and to make the solution isosmotic (having the same amount of dissolved stuff in it) with body fluids.

It could be that the stingy one isn't isosmotic. I have heard that a distilled water injection is quite painful. Maybe there's not enough dissolved stuff.

Definitely something. Thanks for that info. Appreciate it. Just done another. Hurt like crazy.

It is not the volume sadly. I live in Bulgaria and bought 30 amps (10 boxes) from Greece. For me it is complete garbage. I had 2ml injections from Hevert in the past and for me they are pain free. Sadly the Articlox stings like a bee. Threw away all 30 amps and switched to Rotexmedica. Never had issues with both Hevert and Rotexmedica. The sad story is that they are 2.5 Euro for 3 amps when 3 amps Rotexmedica cost 1.5. Go figure.

Ok that doesn't bode well. But yes...was also surprised it didn't work out any cheaper than ordering from Germany. I'll try one more, 1ml in each leg. See if that helps. Thank you @bulgariansmurf
