I love this forum - I learn something new most days!!
A concentric tip syringe is one where the bit that sticks out the end for the needle to be connected to is in the centre of the end of the barrel, as opposed to an Eccentric tip, meaning the tip is at the side of the syringe allowing you to sit the syringe closer to the patients skin.
I usually buy small syringes that are approx 2ml (but 1ml ones are fine too as you always have a bit of spare space) and due to their small barrel diameter I think they are always concentric, with the Eccentric ones starting at 5 ml.
I expect you've seen Wedgewood's replies with suppliers that many people use.
I usually get my needles and syringes from
I get my sharps bins from my local surgery even though they don't supply my injection kit any more. They are also available online and through pharmacies, vets, etc and most of these will change them for you though usually there is a charge for it.
Normally hospitals will change them for you FOC without asking questions if you just wander into an out patient department with one and ask a nurse or desk person to change it for you!!
