Hi, I’ve gotten a letter from my GP of all my b12 symptoms, bloods, history etc! I am currently getting 3 monthly injections but I still have the same intensity of symptoms.

What type of speciality is the best to be seen? Endocrinology, general medicine?! And would anyone have the names of any who they have used and would recommend?

Thankyou

We can't make recommendations on here. I'm not sure. I think it depends on your symptoms as I asked the same. As my symptoms neuro I'm seeing a neurologist . NHS one discharged me after a very unsatisfactory consultation. On earlier post Feb 2019

Sorry can't be any more helpful

as Nackapan says - we can't name specific medical practitioners on the forum but people can send you private messages using the chat functionality.

Do your symptoms improve at all after an injection and then return well before the next one is due or do you just notice no improvement at all. If you notice no improvement at all then that would suggest that there is something else going on. If you notice and improvement that goes quickly then that would imply you need more frequent injections.

Again, as Nackapan says - really depends on what symptoms you have as to which specialist is likely to be the best route to sorting what is going on.
