Anyone used self- injector pen for b12?

I am a whimp, despite having insulin dependent diabetes and thus inject daily, I am thinking I need to start self injecting B12 more frequently than NHS/ surgery offer. Been looking at website wedgewood highlighted for Danish firm unionmedico.com. I’m assuming i’d need intra muscle device, and was looking at a non- disposable one...it appears that it consists of two parts...one takes a conventional disposable plastic syringe( ? and needle), the other parallel attached part looks rather like the diabetic pen, with push button to shoot out the needle/b12 from the syringe. Am I interpreting this correctly? Anyone used one, any comment/advice?

I think if you read thru the details on website you will find ‘small print’ saying something akin to ‘ plastic guaranteed for 200 injections’ or some such...not sure 200 was correct, but remember thinking that would last a year or two with lots of use. Suppose the metal one folks were discussing earlier that was much more expensive would last for years and years.

In case this is of help ... I self-inject but didn't like injecting IM so I inject SubCut with orange needle into abdomen. As a person self-injecting insulin, I would imagine injecting into abdomen with a fine nore needle, you would be ace and with little issue.

The hydroxicobalamin is absorbed well via SubCut injection and, for me, very much easier and a lot less stress ;)

Thanks for that, yes wasn’t sure about b12 subcutaneously, as everyone seems to do it into muscle...even if only say 80% in, I might be happier with that. Will look at the variants and see what dr.is prepared to offer next week.
