I just got my retic count test back and it was really low. 46k with normal being 250k to 900k. This pretty much confirms the b12 deficiency. What's a little troubling is that I had been supplementing high levels of b12 daily (10 injections and 1000mcg orally) for 2+ weeks prior to this test. Is this normal for the retic count (baby red blood cells) to remain this low for 2 weeks after beginning supplementation?

I dont. I just had a blood test yesterday checking my b12, folate, and CBC for red blood cells, hemocrit and hemoglobin yesterday to check up on things. Should have results by tomorrow. My I've had my iron tested multiple times in the past month and its come back normal each time (121, normal 50-180). Folate has always come back 20+ as well
