Ok so I've been b12 deficient for a few years now get injection every 3 mths, just had a blood test and results came back with abnormal vit b12 levels, extremely high.
Had my inhj3ction a month prior to blood test, has anyone else had this? I have to have bloods repeated in two weeks, but what happens next, I feel the objections aren't working as I've felt no change for the better since starting them

I disn't think they were done once on regulations injections.
Mine were too once but nothing was changed. I'd had an injection the day before! The labs did it despite it not written on form as was requested before but they only do it 3 monthly? 1500 + a waste if time some in your case . Ask why
I soon learned from here that it's pointless testing your B12 levels once Injections started as they will be high. The next thing I'm guessing you get is: "we're stopping your injections now as they're no longer needed"
If this happens, point your Dr to the treatment guidelines which clearly states that B12 doesn't need testing again once treatment started.
Mine will be sky high now as I self inject, I only felt better after my 3 monthly injections for 2 days, then straight back to where I was.
Also sounds like you ate doubting if they are helping you. Only you can decide whether to have a break but it' might be very hard to get them reinstated if needed?? Get it in writing !! Very difficult
All my bloods have been rechecked lately as I have suspected folate issues. I've been on B12 for a year now. It's been increased to every 8 weeks because I can barely feel a difference. My level was 1888 and that was a week after an injection. I presume this is normal. It starts high and drops and then you have your next injection and repeat to fade. I'd only worry if they threaten to stop your injections. Good luck.
