B12 injections impact

Hi

Can anyone tell me roughly how long it takes your body to respond to the B12 injections?

Also, if any damage has been done to the body can it be reversed? How long would that take?!

I know everybody responds differently and I hope this isn’t a really stupid question!

Thank you 😊

It all depends on how bad was the deficiency, how long it lasted, and how you respond. As you say, we are all different.

Some nerve damage may never be fixed. Martyn Hooper, chair of the PAS still have problems after may years.

In my experience, be prepared for a very long journey - diagnosed nearly four years ago and still suffering. The only positive factor is that, in my case, the symptoms change and get a little better over time - like a ship sinking more slowly than at the start of damage to the hull.

Good luck.
