Is this related to Pernicious Anaemia?

Hope someone may be able to help me. I was on lunchtime duty today and the other staff member who was out with me commented to me that my lips were very blue and was l OK? I had my hands in my pocket at the time and l took them out to check my fingers and my left hand was a funny colour and the thumb was very purple/blue. Now from time to time my fingers get a little blue but not like this and l have never had to my knowledge blue lips. before. She said l should call my GP but as yet l haven't because -

a) I have been to the GP so many times in the last few months and they are not interested

b) they are not blue now so how do l prove it.

Could it just be related to my B12 and should l just ignore it?

Thank you for taking the time to read.

I agree I would take a photo when it happens and go back to see GP

All best wishes

It is a sign of a circulatory problem. A friend’s husband had this, and the GP is carrying out tests on lung function, heart, and blood oxygen levels.

Thank you all so much. I wasn't really sure what to do. How do you explain something when they can't see it so the photos are a good idea. It happened again today and the person said it isn't just your lips it is the area round your mouth too. I have had a few colds lately and just thought l was under the weather but l must get this checked out. Thank you all again for not making me feel like an idiot.
