Just about to place an order with Mycare for my next batch of b12. But have noticed the pack that I ordered last time now says hydroxycobalamin acetate. Am pretty sure it just said hydroxycobalamin last time. Is this a new/different formulation? Or has the acetate part always been relevant but they are now required to label it deifferntly??

Almost all of the hydroxocobalamin for injection will have nodium, hydrogen, acetate and chloride ions in the ampoule. Often they just add salt and vinegar (sodium chloride and acetic acid) sometimes they will use hydroxocobalamin acetate.
When it's all mixed up you get the exact same stuff.
