Just had my bloods checked and my HCBC is slightly over range. I have PA. I self inject weekly. Does this mean that the B12 is not getting into my cells and should I increase the frequency of injections?

sorry Martin2812 but I'm not sure what HCBC stand for.
If you had macrocytosis - larger rounder red blood cells - raised MCV (mean corpuscle volume) MCH (mean corpuscle haemaglobin), MCHC (Mean corpuscle haemaglobin content) then it will take a while after you start treatment for the problem to correct,
The body generally only replaces deformed blood cells as they die - and on average red blood cells live for 120 days.

Thank you so much. I did mean MCHC (my eyesight is shocking)! Thanks for your explanation.
