Hi can anyone tell me when I can bye my own b12 injections . I have them at my gps every 12weeks but still feel awful tried, moody , ? Please can anyone help x

Hey, I don't know where you can buy them but when they were determining if my depression was linked to my B12 deficiency they upped my doses to every 8 weeks and it really helped with the tiredness and irritation. You can ask them to do that for a while - it's a legitimate request.

In UK, people with B12 deficiency with neurological symptoms are supposed to have B12 jabs every 2 months.

Do you have any neurological symptoms?

You mentioned on your other thread that you have a diagnosis of PA (Pernicious Anaemia).

Have you considered joining and talking to PAS? Costs £20 for a year's basic membership. There may be a PAS support group close to you.
