HU users: Warning about scam on the chat line.

I have had a message on the chat line of HU which is clearly a con, regarding the chasing of someone else's fortune through a bank. I don't know who to contact to stop this happening, I only know how to do this.

I hope this is enough to prevent anyone from responding. I very much doubt that I am the only target.

Click the "Report" button under the drop down menu near posts, comments and private messages

2. This should open up a reporting form for you to fill out

3. Select the reason for reporting and write any comments you may have in the box provided

4. Click on the "Report" button to confirm your report. This will trigger an alert to the community administrator and HealthUnlocked

Thanks for posting this Cherylclaire.

This scammer has been prolific and is,posting across the whole NU network. Here's a warning I posted earlier: healthunlocked.com/pasoc/po...

Will re-post as a reminder.

Each time 'she' appears (usually with variant user name containing SUS or SUE) HU ban as soon as notified. Then they just join again using a different email address and user name. So, HU are working on it.

Banned yesterday as SUS101 and suesue1012. Blasted nuisance!

Be useful if you could let me know what user name was used in your chat message. Will restrict and inform HU (not something you want to be bother with at the moment).

Again, thanks for reporting.

Take care xx

SUS101- thanks, Foggyme, that's a real help. In library with very poor computer system, trying to get info. on funeral reception venue. Keeping busy, sometimes not very successfully, luckily I have sisters to help. Speak soon x

No problem Cherylclaire. They're already banned - under several user names. But if true to current form, will pop up again in another guise. Sad despicable person.

Really pleased that you have sisters to help with all the arrangements...keeping busy works, but the grief and shock still breaks through, sometimes when it's least expected.

Look after yourself xx.

I had that too and so obviously a scam! I just ignored it, but you're right to highlight it and I'm sorry for just ignoring it.. didn't think anyone else would receive it 🙄
